Review and Giveaway: The League of Incredible Vegetables

That's right!  I'm gonna give one of these away.  But, hold on.  Before that, let me tell you my thoughts on the latest Veggie Tales adventure.

I have to tell you that I really love this movie.  Madison and I just watched it the other day and I never know what I'm in for with these.  That might sound strange because most of you are pretty sure that there are several things you can count on.  But, honestly, sometimes I like them and some times I don't. I really loved this one.

The great thing is it's great for boys and girls.  I know that most of theirs are.  But, I have had some that would definitely appeal to girls more than boys, etc.  This one is great for both.  It has an interesting and funny story that kept me watching and the entire soundtrack was just perfect.  The main theme is performed by the Newsboys.  But, all of the music was perfect.  The silly song wasn't too much of a distraction from the film, was short, quick and cute.  I like that.Sometimes, it drifts in to no man's land, but this one didn't.

Now, as far as the story goes, most of you know about the super hero "Larry Boy".  A "fear dar" was stolen from a science museum and this crime was too big for Larry Boy.  They had to call on "The League of Incredible Vegetables".  Lots of new characters including a young protege for the league, "Ricochet".  They are fighting the evil Dr. Flurry who is trying to use their fear against them so he can freeze them all and finally take over Bumblyburg.  See, the fear dar pinpoints your fears and then fuels his machine to freeze them (in fear).  Young Ricochet has to learn that it's not just the super suits here that make these vegetables able to control their fear.  My daughter is only 2 and I have to say a lot of the humor is over her head BUT, the first verse she ever learned in bible school was Psalm 56:3 "When I'm afraid I will trust in YOU!".  She loved hearing this and finding out what the answer to their fear was (which she already knew).  They say "God", she said "Jesus".  Same thing.  Ha.

I promise you won't be disappointed by this film.  Go and check out the trailer here.  And, the music video for the song here.  The song is really good and actually stuck in my head all day.  Cheesy as it is, I liked it.  (a lot..)  Ha..  "oh oh, incredible vegetables".  yeah, that's right!

Now, for the fun part!  The giveaway!!!!  You too can get one of these!  FOR FREE!!!
