I am really excited about this week's installment. Something about this rustic, simple color scheme and theme just really called out to me. I don't know if it's the heat wave and this just seems cool to me or if it's my sewing, knitting, reclaiming old furniture bug that I have right now. Either way, I thought this was one that I had to share with you. Luckily, she agreed.
This week's artist is Pam Dwyer from stateside here in Maine. She owns a shop on Etsy as well called Dwyer Jewelry Designs. You need to check out her shop to see even more of her creativity. Beautiful creations inspired by the sea including this pair of earrings that I love.
Check out her site and don't forget to click on the photo below to go to the actual treasury. There you can leave Pam your thoughts, favorite it and be able to click through to some of the cool items featured within. Go! Now!!
(RMM) What inspired the theme?
(PD) I was actually having a late day coffee break while traveling through some ETSY shops the day of that treasury and the color of the coffee I was inspired the color portion of the theme.
(RMM) What about the photos caught your eye?
(PD) I love rustic, farm style vintage as I live in a 1820 farm house here in Maine, it seemed natural to create something with a antiqued look to it.
(RMM) Why do you like making treasuries?
(PD) I LOVE making treasuries because it exposes other shops to numerous people, not just fellow etsians, it helps new shops and their wares get noticed and lastly, it allows me another avenue to create.
