Hey there. So, I really did try to do a handmade holiday this year. At least for some.
I usually bake every year. I'm realizing as priorities are shifting it's a little nuts. Only because I bake to then pack and lug the 5 hour trip to St. Louis and frankly we really just don't have the room. But, I did some. Just not the norm. I give away Apple Butter at Christmas as well, which everyone loves. It's an old recipe that Stephen's grandmother used to make so I feel really great being able to share it with them again.
Also, this year I did some knitting for gifts which I haven't done in awhile. I made my niece and nephew these weird little alien guys. I think they are funny little monsters with lots of possibilities. Hmm.. I'll keep you posted on that. I apologize for the photography. Just tried to get a shot.
I've also made Madison a pair of socks. Well, they're almost done. I'll show you when they're done.
I bought my sister a necklace from Etsy. I hope that you made some presents this year. If so, please share. I'd love to see your creativity.
By the way, I got 2 books to inspire more creativity! Look below and check them out. I'm going to attempt to learn to sew again. Woohoo!
